Arthur River

If the rare situation occurs of the other breaks being to small then head to Arthur River area. The waves are a beach break and seem to pick up any swell there is. If its over 3 meters than its probably a bit big to get out. Works best as a right hander in a NNE - NNW.

Also works as in a SSE to SE wind as a left hander.

Warning - if it has been raining a lot in the last couple of days then don’t use this area. As you can see in the photo there are a a lot of logs on the beach. Rain can bring major obstacles floating in the water.

Generally if you sail this area in summer you should be right.
