Greens Beach

A place for all levels of sailors. Great rig up area, toilets & showers, BBQ area, great forming waves.

Greens has a reef break directly in front of the rig up area which is fairly consistent. The waves wrap in a long way - as a result they are usually very clean and long.

SW and NE winds work well, although wind can be a little patchy as it comes over the hill if it is an afternoon sea breeze pattern. If the wind goes SSW then move further north along the beach towards Mount Cameron. The waves get bigger the closer you are to Mount Cameron so if its big you may end up getting really worked from time to time as it is mostly beach break.

If you have just arrived in the area and want to break the ice, this is the place to do it.
