Netley’s - West Coast

Netley’s

Netley’s has a nice right hander that works up on the North Point in a NNW wind direction. This break is named “Little Kirra”. Usually needs a 3m swell to work properly.

On the South side of the bay is a great left hander called Quentin’s reef. This doesn’t work that often but is a great wave when it does. Usually works on the edge of spring around August. Needs a SSW wind direction.

In the centre of the bay is a broken left hander that is fairly consistent. Works best in a SSW wind direction. Usually works on a 2m + swell. The waves can be quite powerful.

This area is pretty safe for beginners. You can easily launch of the rocks where you drive up or walk around to the beach. Watch out for the damn electric fence along the path! When walking back from the beach all wet - it can be pretty harsh!
