Policeman’s Point

This is a great place, not far from one of the windiest points of Tasmania - Eddystone Point. It receives Pacific swell - the waves can be quite big and powerful. The water is fantastic and clear and the sand is iridescent. There is a great wrap of waves on either side of the point. On a south-east wind you can hammer out through the channel directly into sizeable waves - flying jumps.

It is not the best forming wave of the coast line by any means but for windsurfing it is lots of fun with plenty of wind power.

Best wind direction is SE with a SE ground swell of 2 m. Works very well on Northerly direction wind as well.
